The 2024-2025 Obama Magnet School Science Fair will be held on January 24, 2025.

We are mandating that all 5th grade scholars participate in the school-level science fair! It is optional for all other grades. However, our Obama Essential Agreements state that each scholar must participate in either the reading fair or the science fair. If your scholar did not participate in the reading fair, (s)he must participate in the science fair. 

Other due dates related to the science fair are listed below.  

• Friday, November 8, 2024 - Project proposals due to homeroom teachers.
• Friday, January 17, 2025 - Completed projects due to homeroom teachers.  

The Obama Magnet Science Fair packet provides information to support successful science fair project development.
